What it's like

The question I've been asked the most is, "What is it like to be a Dad?".  Well...

 

 



Then they ask, "What about your blog?"

What about when you get home?

 

What I picture in my head when friends ask where I see myself in 10 years

At the end of the day, it's the best feeling

Fear

It's almost been a month and I can't stop thinking about the future.  I have a lot of fears regarding what kind of person Scarlett will grow up to be.  Aside from that, I have a few fears from my point of view that worry me.  To the normal person though, it might not seem like a big deal but when this tiny little alien looking things life is depending on you...perspective changes. 


When Scarlett starts talking back to me

When strangers want to touch Scarlett

 

Being the only dad at dance recitals

 

When people crowd Scarlett at the mall

If Scarlett is ever a "Teen Mom"

I hope she doesn't drive like her mom

When Scarlett doesn't want to love on me anymore

When Scarlett has her first visit from "Aunt Flow"

 

 

Not being the "cool" Dad anymore


Despite all these fears, I'm sure I'll get over it.  Well, at least I hope so.



 

Lack of Sleep

Let's just say, I can't wait until Scarlett starts sleeping through the night.

When Scarlett wakes me up

When the wife asks me to change a diaper at 3 AM

When I wake up but I'm still dreaming

Poop, again?

All Scarlett does is poop, all day.  She farts louder than I do and when we change her diaper she thinks it's hilarious to poop all over our clothes.  Here are my reactions in Gif form.
